Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

We ship through registered courier companies for orders within India as well as international orders.

International orders: delivered within 7-15 business days

​

Domestic orders: delivered within 4-8 business days. (You will see the delivery date for your order at the time of order confirmation.)

​

Pre-orders: delivery time will be within 40 days.

​

*Please note that Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are not set as working days for standard deliveries.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping and handling rates vary based on the product, its size and volume, the packaging used and the shipping destination. You will see the final shipping and handling charges at the time of checkout after you provide the shipping address for your order.

Shipping is free for domestic orders above 10,000 INR.

DUTIES & TAXES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Duties & Taxes for international orders are not included in your order, and are over and above any shipping and handling charges paid at checkout. Most countries charge duties on imported items which are levied at the time of port entry and they vary based on the destination country and the products imported. You will need to pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency at the time of your order delivery after you receive an invoice by the shipping agent.

SHIPPING OF PRODUCTS

All orders are processed from our own warehouse in Kotagiri, India. Orders will be delivered to the shipping address mentioned at checkout.

TRACKING PACKAGE

Orders that have been processed and shipped can be tracked using the consignment/tracking number on the shipping agency’s website. Once your order is shipped, we will mail you your tracking number along with information about the shipping agency.

NON-AVAILABILITY ON DELIVERY

Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package three times before they return it to us. Please provide the complete & accurate shipping address including zip code and a mobile number. This will help us in delivering your order faster.

MODES OF PAYMENT

For shipping to India, we accept all major debit & credit cards (including Mastercard & Visa) and also provide UPI, PayTM and Net Banking options across major banks. For all international transactions, we accept major Credit Cards (including Mastercard & Visa).

Return & Refund Policy

We guarantee the quality and individuality of all our fair trade products. As a result of the handcrafted nature of our products, many items will vary slightly in color and/or size. If for you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you must contact our customer support within 7 days of receiving the product.

We offer refunds/exchanges for our customers, subject to the following scenarios:

  • Received defective product

  • Product got damaged during shipping

  • Received wrong product

  • Product is not as shown on the website or does not fit​

After approving your return request we will gladly offer you an exchange or refund.

 

Returns
Our policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shoistore@gmail.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at shoistore@gmail.com and send your item to:

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over 5000 INR, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
